Democrats in Wisconsin are in the majority of voters. Wisconsinites of (WI)
have made Wisconsin a Lean Democrat (leans Democrat) state.
In order for Bernie Sanders to become our next U.S. President on January 20, 2017,
he must win at least 270 Electorial Votes in the
General Election on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Bernie Sanders needs to strengthen the 10 (EVs)
Your order of entry to the United States was 30. Conscidered to be in the Great Lakes region. On November 8, 2016. Wisconsin has 10 electoral votes to give. Before you can vote for him in the General Election, he must first become the the Democratic Nominee.
To make Bernie Sanders the Democratic Party nominee, he first needs to win in Primary's and Caucus's across the country. The date for the Open Primary for Wisconsin is 4/5/2016. * Dates and primary format are subject to change - The above was last confirmed with the FEC on 8/19/2015
To win in Wisconsin, Bernie needs all Wisconsinites who will be at least 18 years old to properly REGISTER as Democrat of Wisconsin (or meet other specific designation requirements ie: MA ). In Wisconsin you must be 18 by the date of the Primary (4/5/2016). Please do not wait until the 3/16/2016 to be sure you are registered to vote as a Democrat (or meet other specific designation requirements ie: MA )!
Once Bernie is the Democratic Nominee, he will run against the Republican Nominee (and nominees of other parties). The current General Election system requires 270 Electorial College votes. Based upon the 2010 U.S. Census, 10 of them come from Wisconsin. Wisconsin is a WINNER TAKE ALL state which means all 10 go to the winner. Democrats are happy to say Wisconsin (WI) was a "Blue" state in 2012 with the final elcection vote of 52.83% Democrat and 45.89% Republican. We must work hard to ensure Wisconsin stays Democrat in 2016.
